I just wanted to wish all my friends here at Covenspace a joyous Ostara. I have cleansed and re-arranged my altar, changed things and added beautiful daffodils. Basically welcomed Ostara. Im going to have some me time this evening and try some meditation (still in the learning process of that) Its sometimes difficult to concentrate when people are asking things from all corners LOL. My name is Maria and I live in the North East of England. I share my life with my partner Guy. We have a 13 y.o. son Sean, a 9 y.o. daughter Charlotte and a 6 y.o. daughter Cody. We are sometimes graced with the presence of our cat Scooby as well. I live very close to my parents and my brothers and sister and there families. Family is a big deal to me and always has been. Being the oldest sibling they come to me for advice,help & babysitting LOL I also nursed my mother through her illness after she attempted suicide and very nearly succeeded....it has been a long fight but weirdly it was about the same time I decided that I wanted to learn and become a witch and I think that helped me a lot to help my mum. She thankfully has not had a relapse into depression for over a year so things are great. I love and collect Elephant paraphernalia.....if it is or has an elephant on it then I need to have it LOL....they are now taking over the house though.I enjoy chatting with my friends from overseas and consider myself to be an honest,open-minded individual. I am there for people when and if they need me. I love to listen and I love to give ...willingly. I love home cooking. Anything and everything, the children's favorites would have to be Choc chip muffins but I do a great herb,garlic & lemon pork roast. I'm good...I just spent an hour on the phone with my 17 yr old trying to figure out a belated birthday gift for her. she's not happy in general but gets blasted pretty hard by those around her. I was thinking of getting her an herb garden kit - like the aero garden - something that will grow without a lot of effort. By the end of the call I was hearing "wahwahwahhhhhh" a charlie brown flash, you know? Kids... mine are on their own and still needing me! Other than that, I'm chilly, having hot tea, and gonna turn on the food network. Looking to mellow out and not complain about work this week - I am so blessed. Two days in the office is just not gonna kill me. So what are you doing? lol... besides running....
